NMC has named Shelly Conrady as director of marketing and communications. Conrady will oversee NMC’s marketing and public relations efforts, including website and social media platforms.
“I’ve had the privilege of working with Shelly over the past few years on various projects,” explains Todd Tangeman, NMC chief operating officer. “She comes to us as an experienced communications and marketing professional – we are fortunate to have Shelly join our team.”
Conrady most recently served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the Greater Wichita YMCA.
“Newton Medical Center has an undeniable passion for improving the health of the community and its people,” says Conrady. “I am honored to be part of the NMC team and excited to serve this mission.” A resident of Newton, Conrady previously served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Harvey County, and participated in Newton Leadership Advancement, a Newton Area Chamber of Commerce program. She has also served as a guest lecturer for the Young Professionals of Wichita. Conrady holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications from Wichita State University, where she graduated cum Laude.
